The old adage goes, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!"
'Round here, springtime brings us dandelions...or weeds, if you look at it that way.
So we took our "weeds" and made this smile!
Looking up into the winter sky, along the rugged body of old black walnut, I am reminded that we, as a people, are perpetually growing... Even when the world appears desolate, and the trees leave us no shelter, and our ornaments fall away, we grow and reach skyward... That is how it is with us.
I am a proud mama of 3 children, Kaiya, age 7, Cassidy, age 4, and Keiyona, age 3 months! My husband, Nate, is my best friend, love of my life, and co-conspirator on this journey of discovery. Our little family is attempting to manifest a better world, beginning right here, at home. We hope to "be the change we wish to see in the world" by showing loving respect for each other and all we encounter. This includes the Earth that sustains us all, the different cultures and belief systems that co-habitate here, and the everyday magic of being alive at this moment in history.
